Chapter 2: After my 964 Carrera 2 had its drivetrain upgraded by Jeff Gamroth of Rothsport Racing to 4.0L with RS short gear ratios (G50-10), it travelled Sherwood, Oregon to California to get its interior and trimmed by Rstrada. It was done to have the best of both worlds, a great drivetrain with a minimalistic yet very welcoming interior with a nod to the original 1967 911R with matte black interior. It was timed to pay tribute to the iconic Carrera GT with the gorgeous Ascot Brown and Natural Grey leather trimming. The gauges were finished in a fashion similar to the CGT and borrowed lines from its sister, the Carrera RS Clubsoprt (N/GT) with plywood floorboards. The steering wheel and the Speedline for PORSCHE wheels were done akin to the of the 3.8 964 Carrera RS. To mix and match all of these components is no easy task, and hence, Arling of Rstrada had to go to work and put his hard earned expertise to use. The result is what you will see in this video.
