A video apology for the delay in releasing new episodes, to show why restoration takes so long. Before and after comparison of an old U-Matic analog tape with skewed colors that was color corrected with #premierepro and restored with #avisynth . Some dropouts remain in the final video because overcorrection in one frame can negatively impact other ones. These were fixed with RemoveDirtMC and SpotLess. Ghosting cannot be easily fixed, but it was desaturated.

Note that YouTube downgrades the bitrate of all videos, so what you see here is not the actual version, which contains more detail and grain. In addition, YT will allocate the inferior AVC codec to them unless they get a certain number of views, at which point they will display in VP9.
