What is Holi? On the first evening of Holi, people celebrate by lighting bonfires. The second evening of Holi is where people gather and throw each other with coloured paint or water. It is a fun festival filled with hues of pink, blue, and yellow, but why mess each other with coloured paint?

What is Diwali? Diwali is the festival of lights and many rituals and traditions in the event include light. Diya lamps are lit around the doorways and windows of people's homes. This symbolises the triumph of light over dark and welcomes home Lord Rama, from the story of Rama and Sita. Many people enjoy fireworks during the celebration.
