The third-generation BMW X3 may look similar to its predecessor but is entirely overhauled inside and out. We drove the diesel-powered xDrive20d model everyone will buy (in Europe at least) and found it to be a great all-rounder. Yes, it's so good it makes you wonder whether a typical premium SUV customer would ever need anything more than an X3.
