Stowaway is about a 2-year trip to Mars that runs into a problem, when the crew discovers an additional passenger. Of all the problems that could come up, they choose the one that is the most easily avoided. All they had to do was have a backup plan for if the life support system failed, but they didn't. They then make the worst decisions imaginable.
