David “Zeb” Cook, game designer for 45 years, was hired by Gary Gygax in 1979 to work at TSR. His designs include the D&D Expert Rules, Oriental Adventures, the AD&D 2nd Edition rulebooks, Planescape, Star Frontiers (with Lawrence Schick), the Amazing Engine, and oddities such as Bullwinkle and Rocky in addition to modules, rule supplements, board games, and fantasy novels.
