There are three engine options for the current Q5, and while they might get some small updates, we don't think there will be any big changes to the engines. A four-cylinder turbocharged motor with 201 hp is the base engine. It has 60 hp more power than the base version of this engine in the 45 trim. The 55 PHEV is the top of the line type. It has a plug-in electric powertrain that adds 362 hp to the full output.
