If you happen to be driving in a heavy rain, you may get a message on your Tesla that Full Self Driving (FSD) may be degraded. What does that even mean? Can you still use FSD, and if so, what is actually degraded?

One thing you'll notice is that the max speed is restricted to no more than 60 mph. If you want to go faster, you can't. How does this compare to Tesla's Basic Autopilot in that same rain storm? Well autopilot doesn't seem to care, and will let you set your max speed to well above the speed limit.

You decide. Is Autopilot superior to Full Self Driving (FSD) in the rain. Sure seems to be.
