We’ve already seen how Mobileye’s camera-only autonomous-vehicle platform handles the often-chaotic streets of Jerusalem. But how does it fare around Munich?

As you can see from this video, our autonomous vehicle is being developed to be able to cope with vastly different driving cultures and environments. And beyond its built-in camera sensors and processors, it owes much of that flexibility to REM™ – Mobileye’s crowdsourced mapping technology that’s quickly building a comprehensive and constantly updating database of high-definition, highly precise, and highly detailed maps.
