To commemorate the 80th anniversary of Operation Overlord (more commonly referred to as 'D-Day'), the RAF Typhoon Display Team unveiled a brand-new paint scheme on ZJ913 which was originally worn by a Hawker Typhoon of No.257 Squadron.

Featuring the famous black and white stripes, which all allied aircraft wore following D-Day, and wearing the squadron code FM-G, the team have nicknamed the jet 'Moggy'.

Moggy will be the primary display jet for the 2024 season, with 'Blackjack' (ZJ914) as the back-up aircraft. As things stand, the Typhoon display team is scheduled to take part at 22 different shows, including the RCAF 100 air show at Bagotville in Canada, the NATO Days weekend in Czech Republic and the Nordic Air Power air show in Sweden; as well as many other locations across the length and breadth of the United Kingdom.
