This is an animated version of Honda's recently revealed Pre-Chamber Jet Combustion as they called it on their research website

They claimed that the rotary valve improves clearing the pre-chamber of exhaust gases but observing its timing which is 1:1 with the engines crank, there is also a possibility of trapping it within the pre-chamber
