It’s a tradition that whenever the kids have a snow day or we have a snowstorm, Noah and I make a huge breakfast. He is usually in charge of the pancakes, Izzy is in charge of the fruit, and I am in charge of the eggs, bacon, and biscuits and gravy.

We got up Hailey and Joshua went to the barn to wash eggs and then Izzy took care of all of the horses because my husband and David headed over to the church because we are building a new church and they are trying to finish up the drywall. And Noah went outside and shoveled the front and back. Sidewalks and porches. Well, I started breakfast.

Two days ago it was 60° and sunny with no snow on the ground and then the next day 6 inches and only 15°. Now today it was 40° and the sun is shining. But that’s just what it’s like living up north in Michigan.
