On Saturday, Memorial Day weekend, we headed out to Hampton, TN to begin the Smokey Mountain 1000 overlanding journey. This seemed like a good starting point for us due to where we live, etc. We headed west on the route and went approximately 100 miles on the Smokey Mountain 1000 before finding our camp site for the night.
