I've decided to take a bit of a break from the constant welding repairs on the Camper Van and decided to move the Charade project on a little further. I cleaned back any exposed metal on the little Daihatsu so that I could spray them with a zinc primer from MicksGarage.com using my Jefferson Spray gun available at E Fox Engineers Ltd. This is new ground for my garage projects, as the orange Kadett was reassembled before I got to properly paint it and the rally car has only been touched up for the registration inspection. I'm really looking forward to filling in the small depressions on the body and sanding them back smooth. Primer and topcoat will be a real transformation as this car never had matching panels since I got it.
