TRUMP SPEAKS AFTER HIS TAXES ARE REVEALED: Pres. Trump delivers an update on the country’s COVID-19 testing strategy a day after the New York Times published a damning analysis of his tax return data spanning two decades. The analysis revealed that Trump paid just $750 in federal income taxes in 2016 and 2017. The documents further show that Trump paid ‘no income taxes at all in 10 of the previous 15 years,’ due to massive reported losses across his businesses. Trump has previously bragged about not helping to fund the government, saying in a 2016 debate with Hillary Clinton that not paying taxes ‘makes him smart.’ Trump first called the report ‘totally fake news’ before shifting his narrative to accuse the newspaper of illegally obtaining his financial records, even though they acquired them legally.
