First up on this week’s show we’ll be in Millstreet to meet with Nicole Ryan to find out more about the Legal Highs Lethal Lows Campaign that aims to inform people about the dangers of synthetic drugs. After that we’ll be taking to the streets of Cork to ask people their opinions on Brexit. After the break we’ll be telling you about Irish TV’s latest competition and to finish the show we’ll be seeing all that there is to offer on the second day of the award winning Charleville Show.

1 Legal Highs Lethal Lows (Synthetic Drugs) - Earlier this year 18 year old Alex Ryan from County Cork died from a heart attack after taking a synthetic drug known as the N-Bomb. Alex’s sister Nicole has launched a new drug awareness campaign called Legal Highs Lethal Lows in an effort to educate younger people about the dangers of these synthetic drugs. We visited her at home in Millstreet to find out more about her brother as well as the campaign.

2 Vox Pops – Brexit Our next feature focuses on Brexit. As the dust settles around the remarkable referendum that saw the majority of Great Britain voting to leave the European Union we took to the streets of Cork to ask people their opinions.

3 Charleville Agricultural Show For our final feature we visit the 37th Annual Charleville Show. Covering over 70 acres, this is now the largest two day agricultural show in the country. It is a real family day out with numerous exciting and interesting events to be seen, varying from judging of cattle, horses, sheep, horticulture, dogs, arts & crafts , cookery and numerous children’s competitions, all justifying its selection as “Show of the Year in 2013”. Charleville Show contributes its success to the fact that it is community based and that all the committee work on a voluntary basis. We caught up a variety of people to find out more about the show and what makes it so great.
