I spend a week with the 2023 Nissan Ariya e-4FORCE, the faster AWD Ariya, to see what it's like to live with. With bold styling inside and out, along with some cool features that competitors in the midsize EV segment don't offer, the Ariya had a promising start. Unfortunately, the driving dynamics and charging speeds are unimpressive, as is the pricing, with this fully loaded Platinum+ model coming in at $62,770 as-tested, much higher than basically all of its competitors. Plus it isn't eligible for any EV tax credits. With some improvements and lowered pricing, the Ariya could be competitive but for now, it's hard to recommend over basically all of its competitors.
