The Canadian housing crisis continued to dominate discussion during question period in the House of Commons on Monday.

Conservative Party of Canada Leader Pierre Poilievre went toe-to-toe with Canada's Housing Minister Sean Fraser, assigning him a rather ignominious position in Canadian history.

During the debate in the House of Commons, Poilievre said in his opinion "[Trudeau] picked the most incompetent immigration minister in Canadian history, and put him in charge of housing."

Fraser shot back at Poilievre, saying "[Conservatives] get antsy when they're confronted by their actual record. Let's take a look at what he actually got done: Only six affordable housing units across the entire country — lost 800,000 more. Zero new apartments."
