This engine had a damaged piston. It was badly scarred by swarf (bits of metal from the machining process being left inside when it was assembled at the factory. It was turned over which created some gouges in the piston. I made a lap from brass and used 2000 grit diamond paste to lap the piston. This is the first run of the engine after lapping the piston.
