VW has made some changes so its time to update how to open and start Volkswagen keyless start models with a dead key fob battery. There are new models, such as the ID.4, as well.

VW models covered include the Beetle, CC, e-Golf, Eos, Golf, ID.4, Jetta, Passat, Toureg, GTI, Routan, Tiguan, Arteon, and Atlas.

Of course, starting the car assumes that the start battery is good. And if not, we will can get you inside and ready for a jump start.
