there are many spoilers in this video so i'd recommend not watching if that's something you want to avoid!

whew. this season took me for a ride. i haven't stopped thinking about it since i finished it. i felt prepared for a lot of the devastation as i read the book earlier this year but nothing could have prepared me for seeing it acted out. i loved it. i really, really loved it. rob and cassie are such damaged people, so lost in their own identities and relying on each other to a detriment that could only mean they would never be able to make a relationship, friendship or deeper, work in the long-term. it's the inevitability of it, we even see it in the opening scene in the pilot. but it still hits you like a load of bricks, seeing it unfold in ever tragic layers. and even beyond that, you know that it's the best for both of them. you know they have to learn to cope without the other, even if they both lose the type of bond that many people search their entire lives for. oof. it's just a lot. again, i haven't stopped thinking about them and this show so...ya know.

the video is a bit of a mess, i apologize for that! the random viewer may not quite understand it but there's a part of me that wanted to make it confusing so that people would want to engage with it themselves.
