Making perfect ribs in the oven or in the smoker is the same except for a couple little details. smoked ribs are easy if you follow the best way to do it. The secret is temperature and not time. Pork ribs should be smoked to a temp of at least 202 degrees Fahrenheit if you want them to be fall off the bone tender. It doesn't matter what kind of ribs you use. It could be baby back ribs, Kansas style, or even Louisiana style ribs. The temperatures are the same. The key is to break down the collagen which only happens around 202 degrees and up.

The temperature you should cook ribs is at 250-260 degrees and ;after 280 in order to get the tenderness you seek.

Making ribs in the oven without a smoker is just as easy.
