Ever since I bought the Z4 M Coupe, the navigation/media screen hasn't worked properly. The anti-glare covering was wrinkled, the display was dim and only worked occasionally, so I finally decided to send it off to the guys at Hi-Tech Electronics (https://hitechserv.com) to get it refurbished.

The unit came back looking great, but still didn't work properly. A common problem with these screens going blank is a fault in the nav system, so out that came and that's where the fun began . . .

Well there you have it. The nav system is so antiquated that I will probably never use it (not without a map update anyway), but it's nice to have the screen finally working properly.
