In this video, Kyle Sulkar goes over his 2018 BMW F80 M3 and his opinions after purchasing and daily driving it for a full year. After owning many E46 M3's and E90/E92 variants, the F80 was the natural 3 series progression and it has proved to be an amazing one.
This chassis comes equipped with a RWD setup, a twin-turbocharged inline 6 motor that produces well over 400 horsepower. The E36 M3 produced around 240 hp from the s50 and s52 motor, the e46 produced 333 hp from its s54, and the most recent previous gen, the e90 e92 generation produced 414hp from its S65 V8.
In this video, I also address the reason for choosing a dual-clutch transmission or DCT over the 6-speed manual variant offered in the f80, f82 and f83 chassis. As well as covering its daily drivability, technology, and interior trim options giving you an overall look into whether or not this car would suit you as a daily driver.
