Zuko’s story was left with a lot of questions at the end of ATLA. So let’s dive in to find out what happened after Avatar the Last Airbender ended!

The end of the series featured a final Agni Kai with Azula and Zuko (played by Dante Basco), being crowned Firelord. And while he helped end and rebuild after the Hundred Year War, he posed an important question to his father Ozai (Jason Isaacs). Where is his mother Ursa?
After the end of Book 3, the live action film by M.Night Shamayon kind of got in the way of any potential season 4. But the story did continue on in a Dark Horse comic miniseries.
Along with that, we never find out how he dealt with being the leader of the Fire Nation. How did he get his dragon Druk in the Legend of Korra? And what’s this about him surviving assasination attempts?
Zuko’s history is no less conflicted when he becomes a politician, but his timeline of actions between his journey with Aang to meeting Korra is one filled with deep and interesting character arcs for all the characters involved!

It sounds like the story of Team Avatar gets no less exciting after the end of the animated series. With a potential Netflix adaptation on its way, we need to catch up on what happened to arguably one of the best characters in the entire series.
