According to McKinsey and LeanIn's Women in the Workplace report, only 24% of C-suite executives are women. While that number has increased slightly in recent years, just 4% of C-suite executives are women of color — and that number has stayed stagnant. While these top-level women have achieved success, they still face significant challenges, from being the only woman in the room and the target of microaggressions to shouldering more of the "emotional" work required to make hybrid teams function. No wonder they’re also facing higher levels of burnout. Organizations must provide renewal, fulfillment, and reward options, or they run the risk of losing these inspirational trailblazers. This panel discussion will focus on what companies should be doing to provide more support and share the individual experiences of senior women who are making it work.
