Rami is an engineer, product champion and technology evangelist. He has a passion for communicating technology, entrepreneurship and healthcare. He has previously served as a committee member of Australian Engineering Week, judge of the Australian Engineering Excellence Awards, chair of an Institute of Engineering Technology chapter, and co-founder of industry cluster Embedded Systems Australia. He consults several startup projects in Sydney and London and is studying for his MBA at London Business School, where he is also a member of the Entrepreneurship and Healthcare clubs. Rami holds patents in the fields of telecommunications, semiconductors and medical devices, and has designed and developed several award winning products. More recently he has transitioned into the role of product management and marketing communications.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
