Our clubs digital C4FM repeater was taken out of service for a locked up transmitter and loss of remote access. But when I got home and tested it on my bench everything was working fine. I couldn’t reproduce the problem. Another repeater operator in our group had similar issues. They suggested updating the repeaters firmware.

This video shows how I updated the RX and DSP firmware in our DR-2X repeater system. Yaesu has very good updating instructions available on their website. If you’re attempting this update please follow their instructions exactly. Hopefully this update fixes our issues.
