Its masking noise with a boost at 6 kHz that may help people with tinnitus ringing near to this frequency. 6000 Hz latest in the T masking series, the idea is to introduce a new and different sound close to the ringing frequency that will potentially distract the mid away from the ringing. Sometimes it helps, sometimes, not. That is why there is a series of noises with frequency boosts, sweeping and noise colors, and natural sounds to choose from. Everybody's tinnitus ringing is unique as there are billions of possibilities with the mind's neural network of 'wiring'.

Creation Process:
I started with a noise similar to Blue Noise:    • Blue Noise Ambient High Frequency Sou...   and then customized it more to my liking. A 6000 Hz boost was added, by request to help people with ringing near this frequency. The creation was made in "The Noise Machine" a ProTools DAW with the help of third party Universal Audio plug-ins. The sound is manipulated and tested (with long listening sessions) until it appeals to my ears.
