We take the opportunity of the 100th FLIGHT of the R2-150 Development / Qualification aircraft to share for the first time a video of the automatic and autonomous recovery of the aircraft in the « Net » (or Energy Absorption System as it should be called).
This flight was entirely autonomous without a human pilot in the loop, from launch to recovery. When returning the aircraft guides itself automatically to the center of the net.
