This new series from the Classic Car TV YouTube channel looks at how cars transition from modern to classic, and why some do, and some don't. We also look at how classic car status affects values. Each video in the series includes interviews with experts who have some connection to the cars we are featuring and broad knowledge of the classic car market.

In this episode we look at the McLaren MP4-12C, McLaren's first series production car. We talk with the car's designer, Frank Stephenson, with Dean Lanzante, whose company took the McLaren F1 to victory at Le Mans in 1995 and with Alastair Bols, who launched McLaren's first roadcar showroom in London and now runs his own, very successful independent McLaren specialist outlet.
