This video is a brief showcase of my University Dissertation project on "Temperature Control in a Greenhouse, using a microcontroller and electric motor to open and close a window.

Greenhouses require proper air ventilation for regulation of the ambient air temperature within the greenhouse enclosure, thus allowing for desirable conditions for respectable plant growth. Effective control of ventilation within the greenhouse by opening a window or door can allow for air to circulate through the greenhouse, thus reducing the temperature if exceeded too high.

The overall objective is to design a suitable control system that will automatically regulate the temperature within a greenhouse by using a stepper motor to open a window to help reduce the temperature within the enclosure. The system is not limited to use in a greenhouse and can be placed in a variety of applications.
