700 startups applied for the Startup Pitch at Bits & Pretzels 2017; only the best made it to the Pitch Stage. A jury consisting of top-tier VCs picked the six finalists: Blik, nyris, FinCompare, Teamstr, fleetster and Catchys.

They competed at the Center Stage and the final winner of the Bits & Pretzels Startup Pitch 2017 was Catchys from Munich. The price: an invitation to the Extreme Tech Challenge on Sir Richard Branson's private Necker Island.

Bits & Pretzels is a 3-day event for founders, startup enthusiasts, investors, and all other decision-makers of the startup ecosystem.

The lineup in 2017 included: Stefan Raab, Philipp Lahm, Carice van Houten, Kevin Spacey, Andy Cunningham, Marc Samwer, Werner Vogels, Rolf Schrömgens and many more international founders, investors, and well-known role models.
