It's FINALLY starting to look like a house!! Time lapse at the end.

There has been so much work over the last couple months with such little visible progress. Now in the space of a week it has dramatically changed and starting to look like a house.

I have framed up the side trailer out of 70x35 clear pine. I decided against using H2 timber because I just wasn't sure about the long term health affects in such a small space. I'll incorporate other methods of managing termites. But it does mean I need to get this thing wrapped up quick - as the rains, they are a coming.

Everything is braced up using steel strap bracing as it's the lightest option, and it locks my walls together. I attached the walls by bolting through the base plate and the steel combing of the trailer. I have and supplemented this with with 14g metal screws between the bolts. The corners of my frames are screwed together with batten screws and strapped for extra security.

I have built a shower out over my drawbar and a frameless corner window into the master bedroom. Who knows if this is a good idea. But if I can pull it off it's going to look 👌.

Next steps are getting this trailer wrapped, and I am really hoping the weather holds out long enough for me to get the main trailer framed up too. Lots of work ahead.

Don't hate... educate, and go build cool stuff.
