My Spotify account was hacked and I am not the only one. Spotify is still not doing anything to prevent it and also does not come out with any statement about hacked profiles and the problem of fake plays on Spotify. They only suggest to change your password.
In this video I explain the process I went thought, after my Spotify account was hacked. All steps I did to get my profile back.
