A film detailing many of the common faults with my 2001 Jaguar X-Type 2.5 V6 to look out for if you want to buy one or need to fix one. Covers engine, electrics, brakes, suspension, interior and bodywork. This car is a 2001 2.5 V6 petrol with 196BHP and 4 wheel drive split 60 rear to 40 front (not as I mistakenly write in the film). Since making this film I have repaired the door cards, the washer bottle pump, changed the rear shocks, control arms, ARB bushes and had the sills welded. I've also changed the transfer and differential oil and the fuel pump, sender and filter.
Before you get into moaning about people smoking in cars - it is illegal to smoke in a car with underage children in the UK but not otherwise - soon will be though. Also I have done another video on the fake plastic dashboards effectively proving there are lots of different types.
