If I were trying to decide between these two vehicles there are several factors I’d consider. The first would be looks or appearance. The Mazda3 Hatchback wins appearance. The second would be the available technology. These vehicles have the exact same technology options if the packaging is the same. The Mazda3 Sedan and Hatchback tie on technology. The third factor would be interior comfort and capacity. They both are identical in seat design and positioning. The difference is cargo or hauling capability. The Mazda3 Hatchback wins in total cargo/carrying capacity. So based on these factors, the Mazda3 Hatchback would be my car.
