Ceramic coatings offer the best barrier of protection against harmful UV rays, harsh elements and abrasions while enhancing a candy gloss finish but to reap these benefits then surface must be conditioned properly. Use these easy to follow steps with helpful tips and tricks to insure that your coating lasts and shines for as long as possible.

Start with a wash using Clean Slate to strip away old layers of glaze, sealant and wax which hinder a long lasting bond and may also clot the pores of the paint and hide scratches and swirls. Next, use the appropriate clay bar to extract embedded contaminants from the surface. Coatings can last several years so it is important that paint imperfections are no longer present when it comes time for the application, use a machine polisher to restore a mirror like shine. Lastly, give the surface one final wipe with surface prep spray to pick up any remaining oils, grease and spent products. Now you're ready to protect your ride!
