Kia has decided to rename the Optima sedan and inject an unexpected amount of fun for 2021. The all-new K5 is the close cousin to the Hyundai Sonata and it gets the same new 2.5L turbo engine and slick 8-speed DCT that we tested in the Sonata N-Line a few months ago. Kia is promising that the new K5 GT will be the dynamic alternative to a Camry V6 or Accord 2.0T. Them's fightin' words!
