We can’t imagine a time when we aren’t going to go back and watch all of the Harry Potter movies at least once a year! And every time we watch, they just get better and better. One of our favourites has got to be The Goblet of Fire, especially The Yule Ball. Everything about the Yule Ball is so much fun, and we wish we could be right there alongside Harry, Ron, and Hermione. But there is something that makes it even better, and that is getting to see just how they shot that amazing scene, and the crazy amounts of hard work that went into it! Even though you might think the hardest thing about filming a Harry Potter movie would be the elaborate magical battles, dragons, or exhausting Quidditch matches, it turns out that dancing at the Yule Ball was the hardest thing that Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint were asked to do. In order to prepare for the group waltz, the entire cast of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire took three weeks of intensive dance classes where they tried their best to pick up the steps. Of course, there was also the fact that all of the Hogwarts schoolmates and the actors who played them also happened to be teenagers at the time! It took tons of amazing CGI, beautiful costumes, and elaborate sets to finally bring the Yule Ball to life, check out the video for the entire inside scoop!
