In today's episode of everything you need to know, we will cover the legendary Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk and how the vehicle ever came into existence. Jeep has been making 4 door SUV's since the early 1990's, then introduced the worlds first Jeep SRT in 2006, with the WK1 model of the SRT. The Wk1 Jeep SRT features a 6.1 litre naturally aspirated V8 with 425 horsepowers and a 0-60 time of under 5 seconds! In 2012 Jeep released a whole new body style, that being the WK2 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT. The new Jeep SRT features a 470 horsepower naturally aspirated 6.4 Hemi V8, this is where the fun began.

Now in 2017, Jeep Grand Cherokees received a new facelift model, titled the WK2 facelift. The WK2 facelift SRT got a new front bumper and overall sleeker body lines. But everything changed in 2018 where Jeep used Dodges Challenger and Charger Hellcat engine, the 6.2 Litre Supercharged V8 with 707 horsepower, in the Jeep Grand Cherokee and named it the Trackhawk!
