Howdy ya’ll. Today we’re in for a treat. A glimpse into Egypt in the mid-19th century. These photographs, attributed to Antonio Beato, date to 1850 through 1875. When digitized a handful of these images exceeded sixty megabytes in size, meaning, for lack of a better term, they are highly detailed.

We will zoom in, check out the details, and I have provided the original title (sometimes translated) of the image from over 150 years ago. Enjoy!
