Should you buy the Canon M50 MK II? That’s a great question. A lot of people make the mistake of buying cameras based on specs alone - they fall victim to either marketing or peer pressure and feel like if they don’t get the best specs available, that they’re somehow making a mistake. So instead of focusing on features that they’ll use every day, things like ease of use, simple post-processing workflow and great ergonomics they essentially compare two lists of specs side by side and then assume the more powerful - or feature-rich camera is the better buy - and that’s often not the case.

The #Canon #M50 is clearly one of the cameras I’ve recommended the most because it really delivered on things that I think actually matter to the majority of users. And when the #M50mkII came out I was somewhat critical of it because they only solved a few of the limitations of the original. They did add one feature that I absolutely love, I saw it on another Canon camera and was shocked that it’s not available on every single camera they make.
