Detailed review and test of the 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 5 N, including range test, road and track driving.
The Hyundai Ioniq 5 N is a high-performance version of the well-regarded Ioniq 5 electric midsize SUV. The N version is capable of hardcore track driving in at least 20 minute stints without derating of the performance.
But it isn't cheap. At $111,000 before on-road costs in Australia ($74K USD), the Ioniq 5 N is twice the price of petrol-powered Hyundai N products locally.
Rivals include the Kia EV6 GT, which is mechanically related but far from identical, as well as the Porsche Taycan, Audi E-Tron GT and BMW i4 M50.
