In this video, we look at the month, Jumada al-Awwal, which is the fifth month in the Islamic calendar (also known as ‘Hijri Calendar’) coming after Rabi al-Thani. In this month, Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) was married to Hazrat Khadija (his first wife an daughter of the leader of the Quraysh Tribe). The Prophet (s.a.w)’s grandfather, Abdul Muttalib (Shaybah Ibn Hashim), passed away, sadly, and he was the fourth chief in confederation of the Quraysh Tribe.
