Those who follow me on twitter know how much I struggled with this video. Multiple times I thought about giving up on it, for some reason I've never managed to make a full video about this family because their dynamics are so different and sometimes hard to properly capture. When I heard this song, thanks to Zoé's magnificent video about Daisy (   • Daisy Johnson | What We're Fighting F...  ), I envisioned some parts of a fitzsimmons family video and decided to use this song.
I was determined to do them justice and I'm aware I massively overlooked some of the most powerful scenes, but since most powerful scenes are between Jemma and Deke, I didn't want this video to lean too much on their relationship, however beautiful it is.
The love between Deke and his mom (who we lovingly call loop bbg) is so important for me and I wanted it to be present in this video, even though it's clear that Alya is not Deke's mom. It doesn't matter, because their fight for a better world started from her, through their struggles, her own struggles and Deke's committment to this cause, and finished with Alya.

I will soon start classes again, and I imagine that virtual learning will exhaust me to say the least, so I'm not sure if I'll have time to vid. I hope I will, but in case I don't, I hope this video will suffice for now. ♥
