On the afternoon of Saturday, March 2nd, 2024, Austinites came to City Hall to express their dissatisfaction with the municipal government's response to the atrocities that the United States has been enabling through its aid to Israel.

Five months of bombs. Over 30,000 Palestinians killed. 1,900,000 displaced. A quarter of Gaza's population is currently starving while Israel denies them food and water.

Mayor Kirk Watson and the Austin City Council have failed to even pass a ceasefire resolution.
