While traveling in Inner Mongolia, Me and my friend @somenuance stopped at the city Bayannur in which Hui ethnic group makes up the majority of the population. There are 44 mosques across the city and we decided to visit one and tried to understand what their lives are like, understand more about their culture.
With the permission of the Imam, I entered the mosque with a hijab on, observed how they pray, and shoot in the mosque. More importantly, I had the opportunity to have a honest conversation with the religious staffs and believers too.
