Today I'm sharing how I forged this custom leather round / skiving knife for a customer.
The blade is forged from 1084 high carbon steel, the handle is stained hickory, and it's held together with 1/8" brass pins.
The blades finish is a forced patina. My touchmark was added via electro-etching.
This was a great project. Challenging, fun, and educational.
