So after ownership of my 2016 Audi A5 for a short time there was an issue with the car starting. The dash would say "Parking Brake Malfunction" and the car would refuse to start at times. Other times it would start up instantly and others it seemed like it wasn't going to start at all! I finally got tired of it when my girlfriend took it to the beach leaving her stranded for 30 minutes trying to get it to start. I took to Beaverton in Oregon to Audi where they had diagnosed WATER DAMAGE to the ECM and fuses under the dash from a leak under the hood through the dash. I have been in contact with USAA my insurance company to see if they can cover the damages. I will keep you all updated on the outcome.
